My Word For 2013

This year for 2013 I will be participating in the One Word 365! instead of me trying to explain it, I will just simply copy and paste it form there website cause I can't put it in any better words than what she has already.

Forget New Year’s Resolutions. Scrap that long list of goals you won’t remember three weeks from now anyway. Choose just one word.
One word that sums up who you want to be or how you want to live. One word that you can focus on every day, all year long.
It will take intentionality and commitment, but if you let it, your word will shape you and your year. It will guide your decisions and help you grow.
Discover the big impact one word can make.
One word.
365 days.
A changed life.

I've never been big on New Year Resolutions. It just didn't seem to ever fit me. Then I found out about this and I was amazed. And after all it is very easy to break one cause it really isn't official it's just setting ourselves a new goal.

For this, I had to think all day, and be sure the word I wanted, was the right word. I came up with a word, but I didn't think much of it. Then I decided to make a list of words that could be a possible choice and I summed it down to two. And I just sat on those two words for a good hour.

The word I have chosen, that God has revealed to me is : FAITH

Now you may be wondering why I chose Faith. I had first thought of Faith. But I really didn't think I would choose it. But at the end I did. I chose Faith because I thought there was room for me to grow in my Faith. There is room for me to learn more and more about my Faith and Religion.

Faith has brought us all here to blog together. To make a community that comes together to share the Good News! We have all started blogging because we had a calling to share the Good News! So it is by Faith that we are all here.

Hebrews 11 the title is " By Faith" ( at least in my bible) and the writer reveals to us, what happened because of Faith. Because of my Faith, I go and worship my God; The Lord Jesus. By Faith I Pray.

Prayer is a way of showing our faith. It is the way in which we can contact with God, without being forced to. It is out of our Faith that we can bend a knee and pray to our bountiful God. Prayer is a sweet and beautiful talk between us and God.

So, one of the many things I will be doing to grow in my Faith this new year is doing the 365 challenge. I'm reading the bible in 365 days. It is "hosted" by I Strongly Suggest that you participate as well. I know that tomorrow I will be starting my Journey through the bible.
